Award winning creativity
Norman Lomax, owner of Moving Content, has won many awards for creativity from World Press Prizes and Sports Photographer of the Year to awards from Harvard Business School for innovative Interactive video B2B products. He was once described in The Leica History of Photography as the “Europe’s young master of light” and embarrassingly described in The Guardian Newspaper as ‘legendary’.
Norman has worked in the media business for over 25 years. Having started as a staff photographer for The Independent, he moved on to The Observer before going freelance and working for most of the top magazines in Europe from fashion for GQ, cars for Top Gear to sport for Stern Magazine to general features and portraits for The Sunday Times Magazine. Inspired by the arrival of digital, Norman completed one of the first Masters degree in Interactive Multimedia before setting up Tanka (Communications Agency) in London. Here he headed a team delivering international video communications for clients such as Unilever and Diageo. He also led on pioneering interactive TV projects for ITV and Granada as well as working on online rebranding for Burberry, Reed, Arrow and Pierre Cardin.
After a sabbatical period of lecturing, Norman has been inspired by the latest developments in moving image capture and distribution to establish Moving Content.
